How Lyba Works (FAQ)
How Lyba works: the Framer plugin for client review and formal sign-off. Pin comments, close rounds with approval, and get a recorded approval receipt. Common questions answered.

Lyba is a native Framer plugin for client review and approval. Clients leave feedback in context on your live Framer site, you manage it from a dashboard inside Framer, and, the part most review tools don't have, you close each round with a formal client sign-off that produces a recorded approval receipt.
In short: it runs the feedback loop like any review tool, then ends rounds with a decision, not just a pile of comments.
How it works, step by step
- Share your Framer site for review. Because Lyba is a native plugin, the client reviews the real site, real scroll effects, interactions, and WebGL, including on password-protected staging URLs.
- The client leaves feedback in context. Comments are pinned to the actual place on the page. No account hurdles, no broken proxy render. Each pin records whether the client was on mobile, tablet, or desktop.
- You resolve feedback from the dashboard. Work through items one at a time until the round is at zero open items, with open and resolved tracking so you can see the round closing.
- Close the round with a formal sign-off. The client formally approves the specific version. This is the step a feedback tool doesn't have.
- Get an approval receipt. Lyba records who approved which version, on what date, against what scope, so the round is defensibly closed and kept in your dashboard.
What problem it solves
The honest one-line version: Lyba exists so you never again have to win an argument that starts with "I thought we already approved this."
Feedback tools are good at the conversation and silent on the decision. Lyba adds the decision: a dated, attributable sign-off at the end of each round. If you've never needed that, a simple feedback tool is fine. If you have, this is the gap it fills.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Lyba and a feedback tool like Clientflow?
A feedback tool collects comments. Lyba collects comments and closes rounds with a formal approval. The practical difference is what you're left holding at the end: a feedback tool leaves you with a conversation, Lyba leaves you with a recorded decision. Full breakdown: Lyba vs Clientflow.
What is an approval receipt?
A record of who approved which version of a design, on what date, against what scope. It converts an informal "looks good" into a dated, attributable decision you can point to if a client later asks to change approved work. More: what is a design approval receipt.
Does Lyba work on Framer staging URLs?
Yes. Because it's a native Framer plugin rather than a proxy-based tool, it works on Framer's password-protected .framer.app staging environments, which proxy-based tools can't load at all.
Will it break my scroll effects or animations?
No. Proxy-based feedback tools re-serve your site through their own server, which can break Framer's scroll effects, interactions, and WebGL. Lyba runs natively inside Framer, so the client reviews the real site.
Do my clients need to create an account?
No. Lyba is built for non-technical clients, founders, marketing leads, brand managers, so they review through a single link with no login and no new tool to learn.
Is there something for agencies with multiple clients?
Yes. Lyba has an agency dashboard for managing sign-offs across multiple clients, with approval receipts recorded per project. See the agency approval workflow.
How much does Lyba cost?
Lyba has Pro and Agency plans, each starting with a free 14-day trial and no credit card required. See current pricing for the latest figures.
When should I use Lyba instead of just collecting feedback?
If you've ever lost time or money to "I thought we already approved this," if you cap revision rounds and need to enforce the cap, or if you run an agency where accountability across projects matters. If your work is low-conflict and you only need faster comments, a simple feedback tool may be all you need. Here's how to think about that choice.
