Install the plugin

Lyba runs inside your Framer project. You sign in once, connect the project, install a small review script on the site, then create a review link for each round of client feedback.

What you need

A Lyba account. If you don't have one, the plugin's Create Account button opens the sign-up page.
A Framer role that can edit the project's plugin data and custom code. Connecting the project and installing the review script both depend on it.
A published site. Review links point at your production URL, or at your staging URL if you haven't published to production yet.

Install from the Framer Marketplace

Find Lyba on the Framer Marketplace and open it in the Framer project you want your client to review.

In the plugin, click Sign in with Lyba. Your browser opens on lyba.io.
Sign in to Lyba if you aren't signed in already.
On the Connect the Framer plugin page, click Connect plugin.
Go back to Framer. The plugin picks up the sign-in within a couple of seconds and updates on its own.

There's no API key to copy or paste. While the plugin waits, it offers Reopen browser if you closed the tab, and Cancel to stop. If the sign-in expires, click Try again.

If you'd rather use an API key, open Have an API key? Paste it instead on the sign-in screen and paste a key from Dashboard → Settings → API keys.

Connect the project

After you sign in, the plugin stops on Connect this project to Lyba. It lists the three things it will send (the project name, the Framer project ID and the published site URL) and explains why each one is needed. Nothing about the project leaves Framer until you click Connect project.

Install the review script

Lyba needs one small script on your site to show the review overlay to your client. On a project without it, the plugin shows Install the review script with the exact line it will add.

Check the snippet shown in the plugin.
Click Install review script.

The script is added to your site's End of <body> custom code, after any code you already have there. It does nothing for ordinary visitors: the overlay only appears for someone who opens a Lyba review link. You can remove it at any time with Remove review script in the project menu.

Create a review session

Each review session is one round of feedback with its own review link.

Click Create Session.
In New review session, fill in the fields:
- Session name, for example "Round 1 Review". It names the round in your dashboard and on the client's review link.
- Client email (optional). Lyba emails the review link as soon as you create the session. Leave it blank to share the link yourself.
- Pages to review (optional). Enter one path per line, such as /about. Your client sees "Reviewing N pages", and the approval receipt is scoped to those pages.
Click Create Session.

If Create Session is unavailable, the plugin shows the reason next to it. For example, the review script isn't installed yet, or custom code is switched off in Framer.

The new session opens with a Shareable link: a short https://lyba.io/r/... address. Copy it with the button next to it and send it to your client. If you entered a client email, the session also shows who the link was sent to.

After your client comments

Your client's comments appear in the session under Open and Resolved. For each comment you can click Resolve, mark it Needs discussion, or send a reply.

Once every comment is resolved, click Request Approval. The plugin shows Waiting for sign-off with an approval link. Copy it with Copy approval link and send it to your client. When your client signs off, the session moves to the Approved tab.
